Ashley and Justin: Running Lovers

Back home after a relaxing holiday getaway, Ashley Olsen and boyfriend Justin Bartha were spotted out for a run in Los Angeles, California on Monday (January 4).

While Justin did his best to set the pace, Ashley had to take several walking breaks before resuming with a grueling uphill run.
According to a paparazzo on the scene, “Justin seemed to be sprinting and then would stop to wait for Ashley to catch up. The two were then seeing walking back home looking quite sweaty after a good hour of exercise.”

Meanwhile, coming up in March, Justin will be showing off his stage skills in the revival of “Lend Me a Tenor” on Broadway, under the direction of “The Devil Wears Prada’s” Stanley Tucci.

‘Hangover’ star tunes up for ‘Lend Me a Tenor’

Justin Bartha appears poised to make his Broadway debut, stepping into the role originally announced for T.R. Knight in the upcoming revival of “Lend Me a Tenor,” directed by Stanley Tucci.

While reps for the production would not confirm Bartha’s casting, the star of “The Hangover” and the “National Treasure” pics is listed among the cast on Telecharge, the show’s official online ticket outlet.

Bartha would play Max, assistant to the general manager of the Cleveland Opera Company, in Ken Ludwig’s 1930s-set screwball comedy. Max is forced to don blackface and take the place of a temperamental star at a gala performance of “Othello” when the latter has a meltdown and is unable to go on.

The role was played by Victor Garber in the 1989 Broadway premiere. Knight dropped out of the revival prior to the announcement of dates last week.

The show begins previews March 11 for an April 4 opening at the Music Box Theater. The Araca Group and Stuart Thompson are among lead producers.

Confirmed cast includes Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, Jan Maxwell, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jay Klaitz and Brooke Adams. Tucci makes his Broadway directing bow on the play.
